Good Morning everyone, I hope everyone is doing well week 9 Thursday prayer 5/17/2013 The Lord said to speak about the importance of repentance this week.
Repentance should be a part of all our lives without exception, when we sin against The Lord and others repentance needs to flood form both our mouths and hearts. We as a people must remember that as God’s people we live by the standard of Christ Jesus not the world.
The word say’s ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God, meaning none of us not us that live is above repentance and humbling ourselves before the Lord.
Pride and arrogance is a destroyer, when we think that we are above the standard of the Living God, something always brings us back down to earth.
The Danger of waiting until tomorrow
The Lord has been doing a work, I’m sure a lot of you have went over the teaching by God’s guidance about hell and the testimonies of how some have said Lord tomorrow I will” but it then to late as they never in some cases saw tomorrow and ended up dying in sin. We all must remember to live is a privilege a grace given to us by the protection of the highest God Christ Jesus and The spirit of wisdom the Holy Ghost.
Therefore this day let’s humble ourselves sincerely before THRONE OF THE MOST HIGH Lord Jesus and ask him, sincerely ask him for his forgiveness for all the places we have come up short in our lives and have not given him our best.
The Example of King David
King David was a man that was after God’s own heart according to scripture
Acts 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up David to be their king, of whom he testified and said, ‘I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart, who will do all my will.’
But… he was not a perfect man, far from it. he had different troubles throughout his life, he had problems an example he had one of his soldiers killed because he got his wife pregnant

2 Samuel 11(KJV)
11 And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.
2 And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king’s house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.
3 And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?
4 And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.
5 And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.
6 And David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sent Uriah to David.
7 And when Uriah was come unto him, David demanded of him how Joab did, and how the people did, and how the war prospered.
8 And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king’s house, and there followed him a mess of meat from the king.
9 But Uriah slept at the door of the king’s house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house.
10 And when they had told David, saying, Uriah went not down unto his house, David said unto Uriah, Camest thou not from thy journey? why then didst thou not go down unto thine house?
11 And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.
12 And David said to Uriah, Tarry here to day also, and to morrow I will let thee depart. So Uriah abode in Jerusalem that day, and the morrow.
13 And when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.
14 And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah.
15 And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.
16 And it came to pass, when Joab observed the city, that he assigned Uriah unto a place where he knew that valiant men were.
17 And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell some of the people of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also.
King David displeased the Lord for this sin and The Lord told him because of what did “the sword would never depart from his house” his children rose up against one another 2 Samuel 13 his son Amnon raped his daughter Tamar which was also his sister, her brother Absalom which was also kind David’s son murdered his brother Amnon, the child Bathsheba conceived with him died. Absalom his son rose up and tried to take his kingdom from him even trying to kill his dad David, Absalom was also killed by King David’s men because he rose up against the king…….King Davis cried so loud that the entire city heard him and it displeased his men……he reaped a great deal of sorrow for that.
However, one thing about king David he knew how to fall down on his knees and earnestly ask The Lord for forgiveness and that is why THIS DAY HE IS IN FACT REJOICING IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD IN HEAVEN AND NOT IN A DEVIL’S HELL, HE KNEW HOW TO SAY…………LORD FORGIVE ME I HAVE SINNED!! Let’s all learn from the example of King Dave and humble ourselves before the Lord
I love this song since I was about maybe 15 or 16 it’s called another chance and it’s giving the example of king David’s life and how he knew how to repent, it is to show, that all need to repent, we must never be too proud to repent. PLEASE HAVE A LISTEN TO THIS SONG

Honest to God I am not making this up but you all would be so surprised how MANY people think they have done too much to repent, but that’s what satan wants people to think so they can die in sin. I heard the testimony told about this murder that dies and he was in hell and he refused to repent saying he did too much, and Lord said that was a lie and that his lack of faith that caused him not to repent meaning he did not think The Lord would forgive him “BUT” obviously that was a lie but it was too late for him the, EVERYONE LET’S NOT BE LIKE HIM!!
Lord Jesus we come before your throne by the power of your Holy Spirit and precious blood and ask you to forgive us for all the things we have done against you and your will. Lord Jesus for all the ways we have not lived according to your word, holy standard, and sinned against other people we ask you to forgive us because we recognize in both heaven and earth by the power of your blood only you Lord Jesus have the power to forgive ONLY YOU! so we repent before you Lord of all sins, see and unseen remember and not remembered.
Lord we thank you for your forgiveness set us free from all burdens connected to sin in Jesus name amen.
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, NONE OF US A PERFECT WE MUST MAKE REPENTANCE A NORMAL PART OF OUR LIVES!
I must say I have no power The Lord Jesus does the work i am only the fellow servant/messenger.
God watches over “HIS” word to perform it not ours THEREFORE WE MUST PRAY ACCORDING TO WISDOM
Jeremiah 1:12 12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
